No matter what your skill level, beginner through expert, we provide top notch training. Classes run in the Fall and Winter each year at local venues and will have you ready for the Spring trout season.

Fly Patterns

Not only will you learn to tie different types and categories of flys, but you will learn when to use them. When is a Catskill pattern the best? Should you use an emerger pattern instead? Streamers, nymphs, wet flys and more are taught regularly.

Tying Techniques

You will learn all of the techniques needed to make you a successful fly tier, allowing you to make not only attractive flys, but more importantly, flys that catch fish. From the pinch wrap to selecting hackle to preparing dubbing, we cover it all.
